Accommodations are Affordable on Lānaʻi

As part of the community-driven rebranding of Lānaʻi, the Maui Visitors & Convention Bureau (MVCB) worked closely with the Lanaʻi Advisory Group to comb through the many pages on the Go Hawaiʻi website which represent the island. One of the primary messages of the Lānaʻi Advisory Group to visitors is that Lānaʻi is an affordable place to visit. The group seeks to rebrand their island, not as a place boasting a lavish lifestyle, but instead as a friendly, peaceful place, rich with aloha and available to all.

Lānaʻi Advisory Group members, in partnership with MVCB and the Hawaiʻi Tourism Authority, are working to increase awareness among visitors that Lānaʻi offers accommodation options for a variety of budgets.  In this sense, Lānaʻi Advisory Group members working on this project determined it was important for new information to be added to the Go Hawaiʻi page pertaining to accommodation in Lānaʻi, stating that licensed affordable short-term accommodations are also available through vacation rental websites.
