Honolulu Zoo Society Holds Party for the Planet

Mahalo to the @honoluluzoo and @honoluluzoosociety for having Oʻahu Visitors Bureau at the 2022 Party for the Planet event! Our Oʻahu Destination Manager engaged with residents and visitors on educational messaging and how visitors can help to give back on vacation this Earth Day 2022!

HVCBʻs member @Hawaiianoptics donated sunglasses for this event and gave away 4 pairs of polarized sun glasses to residents that were willing to complete a quick survey on the impacts of tourism in their neighborhoods and data collected will help us to better manage tourism and educate visitors.
