HTA Destination Management Team Shares Program at Merrie Monarch Festival

HTA's Destination Management team had a table at the 2024 Merrie Monarch Hawaiian Arts and Craft Fair at the Afook Chinen Civic Auditorium from April 3 – 5, 2024. This is the second year HTA participated in the Merrie Monarch festivities to share HTA programs, Kūkulu Ola, Aloha ‘Āina Programs, Community Enrichment Program and Signature Events and DMAP (Destination Management Action Plan) with residents and visitors. Rachel Kaiama, Destination Manager said “the Merrie Monarch festival is a wonderful venue to share DMAP with the community. People were interested and appreciative of stewardship and other programs that support and protect cultural and natural resources of Hawai‘i Island. We are grateful to the Merrie Monarch Craft Fair coordinators who made a space available for us to table.” Mahalo nui to everyone who stopped by the booth.
