HTA Partners with Lānaʻi Culture & Heritage Center on Guide App

The Lānaʻi Guide App was created by the Lānaʻi Culture & Heritage Center. The free app contains community-supported hikes, driving tours, moʻolelo, history and an augmented reality walking tour of Lānaʻi City. HTA funded the enhancement of the Lānaʻi Guide App and worked to promote it, to encourage visitors to respect the land, the people and the lifestyle on Lāna‘i.

HI Now Daily's McKenna Maduli visited with Shelly Kaiaokamaile, Executive Director of the Lānaʻi Culture & Heritage Center, and Meagan DeGaia, Destination Manager at the Maui Visitors & Convention Bureau, to learn more about the app and HTA's support for community initiatives.
