Kauaʻi Celebrates Earth Day 2022 With Service

On April 23, 2022, Kaua'i Visitors Bureau joined at least 200 volunteers for the Earth Day/Volunteer Week project organized by The Friends of Kamalani Playground and Lydgate Park.
A wide range of tasks included cleaning and painting of the Tim Bynum Bridge and Kamalani Playground and area cleanup of Morgan's Pond and Hikinaʻakala Heʻiau.
Relating to Action item C.5 in the Kauaʻi DMAP, the KVB team opted in to clean and weed the Hikinaʻakala Heʻiau to help steward this sacred cultural site. A great day to give back to the community and mālama ʻāina.
